Constructs an inverted list of symbol-pattern at given inversion-point. Also chord symbols are inverted. This function creates inverted structures used in Baroque and 20C serial music, but this is much more flexible as it allows the concept to expand easily into other musical parameters. The operation is diatonic and follows the notes of the active tonality - which means that it works as a symmetric inversion with chromatic and whole-tone scales. Symmetric inversion with all scales is achieved with symbol-inversion-symmetric.
